 Kokum Sar/ Kokum Aamati

  • It is a one of the delicious  curry like recipe having digestive and cooling properties.
  • Aamsul/ Kokam -It is fruits of Ratamba Garcinia indica belonging to family Clusiaceae .Lots of benefits are mentioned in Ayurveda. Kokum is also called as Amrut .

Ingredients

  • Aamsul -100gms
  • Grinded  roasted peanut  -100gms
  • Jagarry  -50gms
  • Piper powder- 1 tablespoon
  • Chili powder -1 tablespoon
  • Salt-According to the taste
  • Ghee-1 tablespoon
  • Carway -1 tablespoon
  • Curry patta leaves -10-15
  • Water- 400ml

Procedure

  1. Soak the aamsul  Kokum in 100 ml water for 2 hrs.
  2.  Now take one pan ,add ghee in it, warm,  then add caraway and curry-patta.
  3.  Add Soaked aamsul extract along with water ,add jaggary ,chili powder, piper powder and salt according to taste , and 400 ml water ..cook it for 15 mins. Enjoy the recipe.
