Kokum Sar/ Kokum Aamati
- It is a one of the delicious curry like recipe having digestive and cooling properties.
- Aamsul/ Kokam -It is fruits of Ratamba Garcinia indica belonging to family Clusiaceae .Lots of benefits are mentioned in Ayurveda. Kokum is also called as Amrut .
Ingredients
- Aamsul -100gms
- Grinded roasted peanut -100gms
- Jagarry -50gms
- Piper powder- 1 tablespoon
- Chili powder -1 tablespoon
- Salt-According to the taste
- Ghee-1 tablespoon
- Carway -1 tablespoon
- Curry patta leaves -10-15
- Water- 400ml
Procedure
- Soak the aamsul Kokum in 100 ml water for 2 hrs.
- Now take one pan ,add ghee in it, warm, then add caraway and curry-patta.
- Add Soaked aamsul extract along with water ,add jaggary ,chili powder, piper powder and salt according to taste , and 400 ml water ..cook it for 15 mins. Enjoy the recipe.
